Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name and I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My stunning wife JP and my fun-loving Dad Henry are also part of our families. The majority of people have come across me through my Instagram platform @annephung where I post my daily life, my highs, lows and everything between. My parents welcomed me into America in 1990, when I was just one-and-a-half of age. It wouldn't be possible to share my story to you now without my parents' efforts to work long and made sacrifices. Knowing that I could achieve a better future, I was determined to make my parents happy. I believed that my life would turn out the same way as I graduated from college, land an executive position, be married, and then start a family. The lifestyle I had planned for myself was not the way it turned out to be. The job I held in 2013 was a nightmare for me. Status and money didn't bring me happiness. It was like I was wasting away my day to pay a salary. Then, in 2013, I realized my love was exercise. Furthermore, I loved being social and giving an extra helping hand to people. This took me down one of my new paths and to the world of personal trainers. The year 2014 was the year I began my business on the side and this next year I'll celebrating my 7th year anniversary. It is rare to find Asian women working in this industry. I aim to be a change maker in this industry by providing quality coaching to empower individuals to be healthier and happier them by creating a sustainable lifestyle cater to their personal needs and goals. In addition, I wish for others have the confidence to follow their dreams and achieve anything they want in their lives. My career began taking off at the time I was experiencing the most successful times of my life. My mother was killed just as my professional life began to fall off. After a long battle for a condition called Scleroderma, she's at peace in Heaven. I will never forget her and always remember her in my mind and in my heart. Life has the ability to provide us with the exact thing we need, even if we're not able to grasp the lessons at the time. My mother's death affected me greatly and I'm convinced she provided me a second chance at life. The day she died was Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she died. It was now time for her to go on to the next chapter in her story and to allow me the opportunity to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. At the age of 30 I feel a sense of living and feeling alive. I don't feel like you're just an ordinary person anymore. This is my story to share for you to ensure that you can resonate by my experiences and words in order to let you know that you're not in the dark in your journey, and for you to realize that you're capable of anything you can imagine. eyes on.
