LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is known as King James he is widely thought to be one of the best basketball players ever and is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships, four NBA MVP Awards as well as four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also has 2 Olympic Gold Medals. James holds the record for the most number of points scored in the post-season, second best overall career score and 7th most career assists. James is a member of 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All-NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. He was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of the games were in consecutive order from the year 2011 until 2018. James was selected to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. He was the NBA's first player to score 10,000 points, rebound and assists in 2022. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron in Ohio. He was hailed by the national press as the next NBA super star. He was a pro-prep player and was selected as the highest choice of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. In 2004, he received the title of NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly became one of league's top players, and won the NBA MVP in both 2009 & 2010. James signed with the Miami Heat in 2010 when the team became a free agent after failing to achieve an NBA Championship in Cleveland. The announcement of his departure was broadcast on The Decision.
