Robyn Rihanna known as Rihanna in Barbados is a Barbadian musician and singer who has released hit songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. A very successful artist still in her prime youth she has already sold over 140 million records and 41 million songs around the world, making her one of the best-selling artists ever. Her parents are born in Barbados and she began singing at a young age. After being disturbed by the chaos of her family life, and her constant battles with her father she began to get involved with music. Soon after, she realized that she was on the right track to be a professional. They formed a group while still in high school and got an opportunity to take part in an audition for music producer Evan Rodgers who was highly amazed by her talent. He asked the girl to relocate from her home in New York in order to take on a full-time job as a singer which she happily accepted. Her debut album was soon out and Rihanna was a cult artist in no time. Rihanna was loved by young people due to her lively, foot-tapping music. It led to her pursuing directing. Young and talented, her name is today considered a popular teen star and fashion icon. Rihanna is also actively involved in helping charities and uses her celebrity status to benefit charities.
